National Board Certification (NBC) is a voluntary, advanced teaching credential that goes beyond state licensure. NBC has national standards for what accomplished teachers should know and be able to do. The National Board certifies teachers who successfully complete its rigorous certification process.  TCS is proud to announce we currently have 6 teachers/administrators who have accomplished this certification.

1. Tammy Brasell - Career and Technical Education/Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood;

2. Randall Fullington - Science/Adolescence And Young Adulthood;

3. Ellen Gates - on loan to the state Department of Education as ARI regional staff;

4. Ellen Pope - Mathematics/Early Adolescence;

5. Kim Ramsey - Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood Through Young Adulthood;

6. Kate Huggins - Middle School Generalist.
