The Thomasville City Schools District was presented with the Outstanding Community Partner Award Sept. 12 at the United Way of Southwest Alabama Clarke County Annual Meeting at Grove Hill United Methodist Church.

Morris thanked the support of her three school principals, Eddie Armstead Jr. (THS), Brad Elam (TMS) and Chelsea Doggett (TES). Also, Anjelica Gibson, Chief School Financial Officer for the Thomasville City Schools District, was the leader of the United Way campaign for the Thomasville schools.
Support for United Way is a priority in the Thomasville schools, Morris said.
